This demo reel was originally created several years ago for the W-Network who were considering launching a new reality TV Show where expert event planners saved “disaster” events. Mike was being considered for the role of Host. Unfortunately, the show concept was postponed.

:: BLOWING SMOKE AT THE AIRPORT ::
This was a portion of a blog video where Mike’s company assisted in the production of an event at the old BCIT aerospace campus hangar at the Vancouver Airport. The idea of the event was to surprise the audience with a sponsored jet coming out of nowhere. A large special effects fog machine was used to create a wall of smoke, so when the hangar doors opened, the jet appeared. Of course – there were a few logistics to take care of while setting off a huge fog machine at an airport.

:: SPEAKING AT AN ISES VANCOUVER EVENT::
Mike Granek speaking as President at an International Special Events Society (ISES) Vancouver Chapter event in 2006. He was introducing speaker Josh McCall from Jack Morton to speak about the Olympics, as well as the importance of membership with ISES.
